2016年、私は東京のマンションに越してきた。

引っ越してしばらくたっても、元住人宛の郵便物が届いたりして

前の住人の住人の家族構成が明らかになった。

母がいて、その娘がハタチで看護の仕事をしている。

息子は自衛官になろうとしている。

なぜか元住人の父親と思われる人から果物が届いた時は

父親にも引越しを知らせない何らかの理由を模索したりした。

マンションは特殊な空間だ。

一定の期間そこにいた人の生活や所作がところどころに染み付く。

他人の空間を壁紙や新しい畳を使って更新し、別の住人が住むようになる。

服を着脱するように、皮膚が再生するように、呼吸をしている。
